                                       WOMEN'S MIND

In Graz  June 5th, 2014

Creating a contrast between the object and movement, dancer Miri Lee limned the beams of the crystalline octagonal form, enclosing an interior, psychological space.

CONCRETE INTERIOR 11- 13 may 2012 at ISCP in New York, US

For the open studios, Jennifer Tee presents ‘A woman’s mind might resemble a room,’  a new floorpiece in addition to a choreography with Korean dancer Miri Lee

This presentation is part of a series of work from Tee that combines her Crystalline Floorpieces (knitted rugs) with sculptural objects and choreography.
Tee is interested in evoking spiritual realms with active material experimentation. Tee has in the past worked on several floor pieces with New York-based artisan Sahara Briscoe.
For this new work, they hand-dyed the wool themselves.
Creating a contrast between the object and movement, dancer Miri Lee will limn the lines of the crystalline octagonal form, enclosing an interior, psychological space.

if the mind was simple if the mind were bare
it might resemble a room a swept interior
but how could this now be possible,
